Responsibilities
  • To provide and maintain a good relationship/connection with all clients. VIPs and especially the Macau Government Officials and government departments;

  • To handle complaints effectively and timely and guest service recovery;

  • To ensure the Guest Relations Department runs smoothly and effectively at all times;

  • To manage the administration works in the whole GR/GS department;

  • To attend to the needs and complaints of customers, handling and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner and to follow up on remedial actions wherever necessary and/or re-direct as appropriate;

  • To liaise closely with F&B and Banquet departments to ensure potential customers are professionally and properly attended;

  • To liaise with any media, government officials or VIPs and VIP groups when visiting Macau Tower;

  • To oversee E-commerce live chat daily management; help train the live chat team (Guest Services) and develops a “rulebook” for engaging on chat and conversation best practices including scripting; and help establish and own sales targets for live chat;

  • To liaise and assist Business Development team and Commercial Sales team in Macau Tower.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or above;

  • At least 5 years in managerial experience and with knowledge in PR and/or GR field;

  • Technical ability with good planning and organization;

  • Good leadership with ability in planning, problem-solving and making decisions;

  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese: Mandarin & Cantonese (Simplified and Traditional) and English.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing & executing sales strategies for the Leisure Segment effectively;

  • Maximizes profitability of ticketing, dining, other leisure activities sales and achieve company budgets;

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty;

  • Responsible for overseeing a team of skilled professionals to increase sales and improve client satisfaction;

  • Assist to develop campaigns, promotions and collateral materials;

  • Responsible for strategic plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales budgets, forecasts and other reports as directed/required;

  • Responsible for evaluating, be knowledgeable and able to analyze the industry and market trends for best pricing strategy;

  • Responsible for analyzing, evaluate and attend major trade / travel functions / meetings and business sales trips to promote sales and image of Macau Tower in order to generate a healthy ROI and growth of client database in new and potential market areas;

  • Responsible for overseeing and ensure the updates of rates, promotions, OTA’s, without any rate parity; ensure all annual contracts are renewed based on production and timely manner.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Hotel, Tourism or Events Management;

  • At least 8 years’ experience at managerial level in sales in hospitality/MICE related industry with good track record of achieving goals;

  • Self-motivated with strong time and leadership management skills, keen abilities to set and achieve priorities;

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, function well under pressure, delegate effectively, ability to remain positive and constructive under stress;

  • Good at computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel; Sales Force knowledge a plus;

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with confirmed event guests/organizers and achieve defined objectives & financial targets of the event, including identifying event growth opportunities;

  • Responsible for overall event profitability with good understanding of profit margins and expenses;

  • To capture intricate event details and requirements in a clear, concise and effective manner that meet or exceed clients’ expectation;

  • Responsible for balancing client needs with the achievability of event logistics and venue standards;

  • Responsible for problem solving and resolve conflict among fulfillment teams, clients, suppliers, etc.;

  • Ensure client deadlines are communicated and met including but not limited to payment schedules, event details and final guaranteed attendance;

  • Ensure event planning guidelines and safety regulations are communicated in advance of the event;

  • Communicate with the sales and business development team to ensure all pertinent event information is seamlessly transitioned;

  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Hotel, Tourism or Events Management;

  • At least 3 years’ experience in event management in a large-scale convention venue or similar;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deal with different audiences and both of internal and external stakeholders;

  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, function well under pressure, delegate effectively, ability to remain positive and constructive under stress;

  • Good at computer skills and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel; Sales Force knowledge a plus;
